Proven Skunk Spray Smell Removal Formula:
- 1 U.S. Quart (approx 1 litre) of 3% hydrogen peroxide.
- 1/4 cup (approx 45 ml) baking soda
- 1-2 teaspoons (approx 5-10 ml) liquid dish soap.
Directions: Mix all 3 ingredients well in a plastic container or bucket. Immediately apply the mixture to all affected areas, rinsing well with warm water afterward.
While using this solution, avoid getting it in eyes, as it will irrate them. We also recommend wearing gloves while handling this solution as it can sting any open cuts or scratches you have.
Once you are done using the solution pour out any remaining solution down a drain while running water. DO NOT under any circumstances store the mixed solution in a closed bottle or sprayer for future use. This is because the ingrediates used will have pressure build up which can lead to the container bursting and creating unnecessary injury risk.
